Our Trustees

Afoma C. Ifediora is a member of Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD)  as well as  an Associate of Laboratory Medical Science Council of Nigeria (ALMSCN).  She is currently a senior lecturer in Microbiology Department of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike where she teaches medical Microbiology courses. She has served as an academic adviser to over 400 students. 

She worked as a medical laboratory scientist with the University health facility before switching to academics. She is a researcher with interest in antibiotic resistance and molecular studies. She has both published and reviewed several articles in notable local and foreign journals.

She holds a PhD in Medical Microbiology from Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO). She is an ardent Christian and an active member of Catholic Charismatic Renewal in Nigeria (CCRN).
