Sir Pius Ufudo Complex
This is the flagship project of the Foundation. Located at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, Nnobi, The Sir Pius Ufudo Complex is a modern multi-use facility built by the Foundation and donated to the St Theresa’s Catholic Church, Nnobi. The complex has over 1,000m2 of utility space and contains the following:
A nursery school and primary school · A library · Office facilities for Parish Priest, Catechist and teachers · Conference/ meeting rooms · Multipurpose 400-seater Hall · Modern toilets . Children’s playground
The School
Consisting of classrooms for nursery and primary school students of St. Theresa’s Nursery & Primary School, the Foundation has provided international-standard infrastructure for the students as part of the Sir Pius Ufudo House. New classroom furniture, playground and toilet facilities have also been provided by the Foundation. This is a profound departure from the current dilapidated make-shift facilities of the School.
The Library
As part of the Sir Pius Ufudo House, the Foundation has built an ultramodern Library. This is the first fully furnished privately funded public library at Nnobi. With over 10,000 books already purchased by the Foundation, the library will be a center for learning and academic research. It will be a melting pot for academic interactions for the teeming number of Nnobi students in secondary and tertiary institutions across the country.
The Multipurpose Hall
The Lady Caroline Nkemakonam Ufudo Multipurpose Hall & Event Center is an integral part of the Sir Pius Ufudo House. The hall can seat up to 400 people (open style) or 250 people (banquet table style) and is very suitable for conferences, weddings, town-hall meetings, etc. Equipped with audio and visual projection equipment, the hall is also suitable for learning events, government and community outreach programs and seminars. The Hall is supported by a smaller 40-person seating capacity conference room for smaller sized meetings and events.
